On With The Show
Denver, CO- After missing the show at the Daytona 500, Furniture Row Racing moves onward and westward to the California Motor Speedway for their next CUP race.

Joe Garone, Furniture Row Racing's crew chief, reflects on lessons learned at the season opener. "The 150-mile qualifying race needs to be remembered as a good race for the program even though the outcome didn’t qualify us for the 500. We had great pit stops and the car performed well. Kenny did everything he could to get in position to qualify, but ultimately wasn’t able to find drivers to help him draft into the first two qualifying positions."

Garone refers to Furniture Row Racing's CUP driver and motorsports personality, Kenny Wallace, who is slated to take on the CUP field on the 2-mile, D-shaped oval track at California Speedway in the Auto Club 500 this Sunday.

"After having a good test at Vegas I look forward to qualifying for our first speedway race this weekend at California Speedway. The tracks are similar in some ways and the information we gathered from our prior test should transfer to the California track," states Garone.
