Eyes Wide Open
Denver, CO- Last weekend’s Pepsi 400 at Daytona was an eye opener for the Furniture Row Racing Cup program according to crew chief Joe Garone.

After a disappointing DNQ, Garone stated the following, “We need to work on finding speed. We had a MB2 motor sports car that ran and qualified at the 06 Daytona 500. This car was a duplicate of Joe Nemecheck and Sterling Marlin's cars as far as the set up and aero package, and the car still wasn’t fast enough to make the race.”
The DNQ frustration at Daytona has only added fuel to the fire, as the Furniture Row Racing program heads to Chicago this weekend with renewed determination.
Driver Kenny Wallace will take on Chicagoland Speedway for the Cup program, and driver Jerry Robertson will drive the Busch Series for Furniture Row® Racing.

Both drivers must maneuver Chichagoland’s tricky 1.5 mile D-shaped oval that features 24 degrees of banking in the turns.
Furniture Row® Companies is one of the largest family-owned specialty home furnishings and bedding retailers. The company is comprised of five specialty store brands including: Sofa Mart®, Oak Express®, Bedroom Expressions®, Denver Mattress Co®, and Big Sur Water Beds® .
